Peachy Wild Rice
NeedTaste |What a delightful twist to a delicious side We loved the addition of peaches and pecans... and have no fear the flavor of the whiskey is nearly impossible to detect.. This goes good withjus abought any thing. I serve this with my stuffed pork chops

INGREDIENTS :
1/4 cup(s) jack daniel's whiskey
1 package(s) rice
long-grain/wild rice blend
1 tablespoon(s) real butter
1 can(s) peaches
drained and cubed
1/4 cup(s) pecans coarsely chopped

INSTRUCTIONS :
Add enough water to the whiskey to make 2-1/3 cups of liquid. n a cast iron Dutch oven - that is what I use - combine with rice seasoning packet and butter bring to a boil. Add rice cover and simmer over med-low heat untill liquid is absorbed. About 25min. tir in peaches and pecans heat through. Serves 6.
