Smoky Fried Green Tomatoes With Fresh Garden Salsa
NeedTaste |My husband and I came up with this recipe after collecting a lot of produce from our home garden.. These are heavenly and perfect for summertime. By grilling the tomatoes first, it cooks them a bit before frying. This means they don't have to fry as long to achieve a perfect golden brown. Not oily, these fried green tomatoes have a wonderful crunch. The fresh salsa on top is the perfect accompaniment.
