Snowballs
NeedTaste |This cookie has been called by many names... Russian tea cakes, Mexican wedding cookies. My mother would just call them snowballs. There are also many ways to make them but here is the recipe that I use.. At some point, everyone has this type of cookie during the holiday season on a cookie tray. One taste and these snowballs will bring you back to being a kid during Christmas. They're buttery and similar to a pecan sandie but with a little more crunch. The cookie itself is not overly sweet and rolling in powdered sugar adds the right amount of sweetness. A pretty addition to a holiday table.
